The council’s fleet of three electric cars are seen as a much cleaner alternative to diesel. Intended for use by supervisors for site visits, they’re able to fulfill all their daily duties if left to charge overnight.
Residents who own an electric vehicle can register for free parking around town, at any of the charging posts available.
